When my FAM to Iceland was cancelled two days before departure due to a broken propeller on our Iceland ProCruises ship, I was at a loss. I was hoping to visit Iceland to bring back information to our team of travel consultants since none of our consultants have yet visited. I still had our plane tickets, and my husband considered Iceland his bucket-list photography destination, so I reached out to Christine at The Travel Designer and asked for assistance. I told her my husband is a near-professional photographer and wanted an itinerary with many outdoor activities including waterfalls, The Northern Lights, parks, scenery. She immediately responded and put Kaitlynn on the hunt. Within hours, Kaitlynn had an itinerary that included everything I had requested and more! We toured gorgeous ice caves, traveled to a remote area with a guide for prime Northern Lights views, and hiked to countless waterfalls. The photos that my husband ended up with are spectacular...near National Geographic quality. On top of everything, when our arrival was delayed by a day due to airport closings, Kaitlynn was very responsive and was able to reschedule all of our transfers and excursions. We are so happy that we didn't have to cancel our adventure of a lifetime, and I feel so good knowing that our clients are in the hands of such conscientious and professional partners!
